Graphic and geometric tattoo
Graphic and geometric tattoos in the Vaucluse
Triangles, hexagons, circles, intersecting lines: graphic and geometric tattooing builds the design from pure shapes. At TATTOO ON MOVE, Tof and Flo both practise it, from the small piece to the full sleeve.
What makes a geometric tattoo
- Pure shapes: triangles, diamonds, hexagons, circles and straight lines, often in black.
- Symmetry and repetition: a pattern that repeats along an arm, or radiates around a centre.
- Mixing genres: a landscape, an animal or a touch of colour can sit inside a geometric shape.
- Precision: the lines have to fall just right on the curves of the body, which takes careful preparation.

More pieces are on Tof's page and on Flo's.
Who tattoos it here
- Tof, tattoo artist since 1995, at both tattoo shops. Book with Tof in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue or in Carpentras.
- Flo, in Carpentras, tattoo artist since 2020, who blends geometry with dotwork and mandalas. Book with Flo.
How a geometric project works
A first visit to the tattoo shop is necessary: the tattoo artist looks at the placement, because a geometric shape has to be fitted to the body, and together you estimate the price and the time to book. Quotes are not given by email.
The drawing starts once the deposit has been paid, at least 30% of the price of the tattoo, deducted from the price. It is shown to you on the day of the session, and changes are still possible. The minimum price of a tattoo is €80.

Frequently asked questions
Is a geometric sleeve done in a single session?
Rarely: a full sleeve is built up over several sessions. The time to book is estimated at the first appointment, once the design and placement have been looked at together.
Can geometry and colour be combined?
Yes: a touch of colour, a landscape or an animal can sit inside a geometric shape, as in several of our pieces.
Do straight lines stay straight over time?
The tattoo artist takes into account the curves and movements of the body when placing the design, so that the lines stay true when you move.
What happens if I have to cancel?
The deposit is not refunded if the cancellation happens less than 48 hours before the appointment. So please let us know as early as possible.
