Pubic microdermal

The microdermal can be done on the pubis, on women and men alike.

The microdermal is quite different from a piercing, as it is really more of an implant. The implanted part is a tiny titanium plate (1 mm wide by 4 mm long) with a small internally threaded post that sits flush with the skin. The jewellery, which is the visible part of the microdermal, is screwed onto this post.

The implant side can be frightening, but it may reassure those who are afraid of needles, because we don't use any for this piercing. Having it done is actually not very painful, contrary to what you might think.

You will need to protect it with a dressing for a few weeks. Aftercare is really easy, because this piercing heals very well and quickly (2 to 4 months).

The implanted jewellery is made of titanium, which cannot cause any allergy. Contrary to what you might think, it can really last over time, as long as you are gentle with it.
