Our priority is to offer you a unique artistic experience in a safe and caring setting. This charter sets out our commitments to you and to your health.
1. IMPECCABLE HYGIENE & SAFETY
Your safety is never compromised. We apply strict protocols that comply with, and exceed, the standards in force.
- Dedicated Rooms: All tattooing and piercing is carried out exclusively in a technical room dedicated to this purpose.
- Strict Cleaning: Our spaces are cleaned and disinfected daily, and also between each client, with hospital-grade products.
- Sterile Equipment: We systematically use sterile, single-use equipment (needles, tips, gloves) for every procedure.
- Ongoing Training: All our tattoo artists and piercers have completed the compulsory hygiene and sanitation training, and they regularly take further courses to maintain their level of excellence.
2. CONSENT & RESPECT (SAFE SPACE)
Your body, your choice, our respect.
- Active Consent: We undertake to ask for and respect your consent before any physical contact. You remain in full control of the session.
- Kindness: Our tattoo shops (L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue and Carpentras) are spaces of respect. We welcome everyone with the same attention, without judgement or discrimination.
- Privacy: We ensure your privacy during the procedure (screens, an isolated workstation) and look after your comfort at all times.
3. OUR VISION OF THE CRAFT
We stand for a craft-based, artistic vision of tattooing.
- Healthy Competition: We work for healthy and respectful competition by excluding any non-professional practice.
- Know-How: We value learning through observation, practice and experience, and we reject the promotion of titles, diplomas, schools or paid courses that do not reflect real talent.
4. FOLLOW-UP & FREE AFTERCARE (A TWO-WAY COMMITMENT)
The success of your tattoo or piercing depends 50% on the procedure and 50% on your aftercare.
- Your Commitment: In return, you undertake to tell us about any relevant health condition (treatment, allergies, pregnancy) and to follow the aftercare protocols you are given to the letter.
- Our Free Aftercare: Because we want the best for your healing, we give you the aftercare products you need free of charge. They are French products, tested and approved, specially designed for tattooing and piercing. Make the most of it, it's included!
LEGAL NOTICE & CODE OF ETHICS (FORMER COLLABORATORS)
The ethical commitment of Tattoo On Move® lasts beyond our walls.
Every artist who has worked at Tattoo On Move®, whether or not they are still with us, has signed up to our internal hygiene charter. This charter goes beyond legal requirements and ensures that all our tattoo artists and piercers refrain from tattooing or piercing in non-compliant conditions, including after their collaboration with our team has ended.
Tattoo On Move® is proud to have welcomed committed artists who care about your health. We would be saddened to learn that an artist who was part of our team had broken this rule.
Despite all these precautions, if you notice that a tattoo artist or piercer who has worked at Tattoo On Move® is operating in conditions contrary to these commitments (for example by offering tattoos at home in an unsuitable setting and without respecting the standards), please report it to us immediately. We will then be able to take the necessary measures.
You can also inform the relevant authorities, such as the ARS (Agence Régionale de Santé, the regional health agency) or the Répression des Fraudes (the consumer fraud authority), which ensure compliance with the regulations on tattooing and piercing.
If you have unfortunately been confronted with the behaviour of a person who has worked at Tattoo On Move® and who practises tattooing or piercing in such non-compliant conditions, we are sincerely sorry. Although these acts are committed outside our establishment and without our approval, the health and satisfaction of our clients remain our priority.
If you wish, we can arrange an appointment to examine your tattoo or piercing, assess any problems and consider suitable solutions together (for example, a touch-up of your tattoo).
