Labrets, Medusa, Monroe, Snake Bites, tongue or smiley: mouth piercings heal quickly, generally in 1 to 4 months, but the first two weeks call for rigour.

During this period, avoid alcohol and anything too hot, too hard or too spicy, and rinse your mouth after every meal. The initial jewellery is deliberately longer to leave room for swelling: we shorten it once the swelling has gone down.

One thing to know before you take the plunge: jewellery that rubs against the teeth or gums can, over time, damage them. That is why we choose the size and placement with care, and why a check-up visit is always a good idea!
