Piercing
Piercing at TATTOO ON MOVE, in the Vaucluse
TATTOO ON MOVE specialises in body art, with two tattoo shops in the Vaucluse: L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue (84800) and Carpentras (84200). Our piercers do your piercings, your jewellery changes and your custom compositions, and follow your healing, in a dedicated space with sterile single-use equipment.
From ear piercings (lobe, helix, tragus, conch, daith) to the nose, navel or nipple, not forgetting the microdermal, we look after you from the first piercing right through to complete healing. Whether you come from L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Carpentras, Cavaillon, Avignon, Orange, Monteux, Pernes-les-Fontaines or Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, you are welcome.
Our piercers and our two tattoo shops
At present, 3 piercers share the work across our two tattoo shops, at the same prices and with the same philosophy.

In Carpentras: Alyson — 04 90 60 23 14, Tuesday to Saturday, 11am to 6pm, closing at 5pm on Thursday
Book directly with the piercer of your choice: Ilona, Zoé or Alyson. The site lets you choose the tattoo shop, the date, the piercer and the time; all our services are offered there.

With or without an appointment
Piercing is done with or without an appointment, subject to availability, in both our tattoo shops. To guarantee your slot, we recommend booking an appointment, online or by phone, even on the same day.
You can also drop in without getting pierced: to imagine an ear composition, choose a piece of jewellery or simply ask for advice.
Hygiene and safety
We work in a clean space, dedicated solely to piercing, with sterile, single-use tools, following best practice. Our piercers attend seminars and training in hygiene and sanitation, in aftercare and healing advice, and in piercing techniques.
Our jewellery
Our healing jewellery is made of ASTM-F136 implant-grade titanium, which we sterilise ourselves, fitted to each morphology for an almost nil risk of allergy and optimal healing. 18k gold is offered for finishing jewellery.
Because the art of piercing is moving towards fine jewellery, we follow the latest trends to offer you a wide choice of quality jewellery.
Our little extra: your aftercare products are free, specially designed for piercing healing.
Under-18s
Lobe piercing from age 6. For minors, parental consent is required, and a parent must be present before the age of 16, and is preferable after that. The consent form is compulsory: it is filled in at the tattoo shop. Rarely, from age 16, remotely: the minor brings the parent's original ID card, and we call the parent to check. All the details: tattoos and piercings for under-18s.
The steps of a piercing session
1. You fill in a follow-up sheet with a health questionnaire, so we can adapt the procedure to your needs.
2. Depending on your request, we recommend several healing jewellery options, sterilised by us before the session, to suit your morphology and your style.
3. In the room, we carry out skin antisepsis and offer you several ink markings, so we can choose the best placement together.
4. We prepare the work surface beside you, following the hygiene rules, and do a final antisepsis.
5. Then comes the piercing itself, the quickest part, with as little pain as possible.
6. The moment we like best: your reaction in front of the mirror!
7. We take the time to explain the aftercare instructions and what to avoid for good healing.
8. Before you leave, if you agree, you pose for our "piercing bible".
Jewellery change, compositions and chain bar
A jewellery change follows the same sterile process as the piercing itself, and we enjoy advising you among our many models to create the most beautiful compositions. A custom chain bar awaits you to link your jewellery together.
Healing and aftercare
Every piercing has its own healing time: the lobe heals quickly, while cartilage and the navel call for much more patience. The healing time of each piercing is given on its page, and the instructions are brought together in aftercare. We follow you until healing is complete: if in doubt, book a check-up visit.
FAQ
Does a piercing hurt?
The sensation depends on the area pierced and on the person. Our piercers do the procedure with as little pain as possible: antisepsis, precise marking and confident technique. For most piercings, the pain is brief and bearable.
Do I need an appointment?
Piercing is done with or without an appointment, subject to availability, in both our tattoo shops. To guarantee your slot, book online or by phone. Same prices in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue and in Carpentras.
From what age can you get pierced?
Lobes can be pierced from age 6. For minors, parental consent is required, and a parent must be present before the age of 16, and is preferable after that.
How long does a piercing take to heal?
It depends on the piercing: 2 to 4 months for a lobe, 3 to 9 months for cartilage such as the helix, 6 to 12 months for a navel. The healing time of each piercing is given on its page.
Can I swim after a piercing?
Avoid baths, swimming pools, the sea, saunas and steam rooms until healing is complete, to limit the risk of infection. Showering is fine.
Do you offer jewellery changes?
Yes. It follows the same sterile process as the piercing itself, with advice among many models, in ASTM-F136 titanium or 18k gold, and a chain bar for custom compositions.
We can't wait to meet you and bring out your personality. See you soon!
