Angel Bites

Angel Bites are a combination of two Jestrum piercings.

The Jestrum sits in the middle of the upper lip. It is a variant of the vertical labret, but on the upper lip instead of the lower lip.

The lower ball sits on the lip and the upper ball above the lip (like the Monroe piercing). Just like the vertical labret, it does not touch the inside of the mouth.

Moderately painful and quick to heal (2 to 4 months), this piercing is not very restrictive.

The jewellery fitted at the time of piercing is a banana-type piece. You can choose between:

• A piece with two titanium balls
• A piece with two gold anodised titanium balls
• A titanium piece with two set with zircons

The shaft of the jewellery will be deliberately chosen longer to allow for a slight swelling of the area during healing. It can be replaced with a shorter shaft after healing.

The lower balls are often replaced with spikes on this piercing, to give the illusion of small teeth.
