Tragus

The tragus piercing is one of the most common cartilage piercings. Located on the small triangle between the ear and the face, it discreetly dresses both the face and the ear.

The piercing itself is a little painful but quick. Like most cartilage piercings, it is the healing that gets complicated: allow 3 to 9 months for complete healing. We recommend not sleeping on the piercing throughout healing, to avoid slowing it down. So choose to have it done on the ear you sleep on least! Also avoid earphones on that ear at first.

For healing, we will fit you with a straight piece of jewellery with a ball. You can choose between 3 models:

basic implant-grade titanium jewellery
gold anodised implant-grade titanium jewellery
implant-grade titanium jewellery with a set rhinestone

Once your piercing has healed, you can change your jewellery. You will then be able to choose:

Straight jewellery: we recommend small pieces so that they do not stick out beyond the cartilage
A mini horseshoe: which gives both the ring effect and the balls of straight jewellery
Very small rings: to match with your earrings for a pretty ear styling

To sum up, the tragus piercing is both discreet, because of the small size of compatible jewellery, and visible, because of its position close to the face.
