Vertical Labret Piercing

Vertical labret

The vertical labret sits in the middle of the lower lip. The top ball is on the lip (like the Ashley piercing) and the bottom ball beneath the lip (like the labret piercing). The difference from the two previous piercings is that the vertical labret does not touch the inside of the mouth.

Moderately painful and quick to heal (2 to 4 months), it is not a very demanding piercing.

The jewellery fitted at the time of the piercing is a banana-type piece. You can choose between:

• A piece with two titanium balls
• A piece with two gold-anodised titanium balls
• A titanium piece with two set with zircons

The stem of the jewellery is deliberately chosen to be longer to allow for slight swelling of the area during healing. It can be swapped for a shorter one once healing is complete.
