Daith Piercing
Daith
Daith
The daith goes through the fold of cartilage just above the entrance to the ear canal. It is a discreet and original piercing: seen from the front, the jewellery seems to sit in the hollow of the ear.
It is a piercing that deserves to be better known: on its own, it makes your ear look stunning!
As for pain, it is no more painful than any other cartilage piercing. It simply takes a little longer to do, because the spot is not easy to reach. But don't worry, we are still talking about a few seconds.
For complete healing, allow between 3 and 9 months. Healing generally goes better than for most cartilage piercings, because the daith is protected by the ear. It doesn't catch in your hair.
As for jewellery, we will first fit a sterile titanium horseshoe, in silver or gold anodised, as in the photos.
You can also, by reservation, choose the jewellery of your choice in a 10 mm diameter, for optimal healing.
Once your piercing has healed, you can switch to a ring with a diameter of 8 or 10 mm, depending on the shape of your ear and the look you want. As it is a discreet spot, you can easily dare to try rhinestones, colour and any other fancy touch!
