Tongue Piercing

Tongue
The tongue piercing often scares people, and yet it is one of the least painful! What is hard to cope with is actually not the piercing itself, but the two weeks that follow. Your tongue will swell, and you will have a very long piece of jewellery to allow for this swelling (as in the photo). The jewellery and your tongue can therefore be quite uncomfortable. You also need to plan not to eat anything too hard, too hot or too spicy, and above all not to drink any alcohol during these first two weeks.
After two weeks, you have a second appointment (the price of which is included in the price of the piercing) to fit a shorter piece of jewellery. The rest of the healing is then much easier!
It is also one of the piercings that heal the fastest: allow 1 to 2 months for complete healing. Once it has healed, you can change your jewellery if you wish.
In the long term, we advise plastic balls, which are admittedly less sturdy but are gentler on your teeth.
