The flat piercing is a helix piercing placed further towards the middle of the ear.

It cannot take rings, as it is too far from the edge of the ear. On the other hand, it can take fairly large labret-style jewellery, because it sits in an area with plenty of space.

As for pain, it is no more painful than any other cartilage piercing, and it is very quick to do.

For complete healing, allow between 3 and 9 months. As with all cartilage piercings, it is best to avoid sleeping on it so as not to slow down healing.

As for jewellery, we will first fit a sterile titanium labret. Once your piercing has healed, you can, if you wish, switch to other jewellery like the one in the 1st photo.

It is also possible to create compositions of several flat piercings with matching jewellery, or to form a pattern (constellation, smiley...)
