Surface Tragus Piercing
Surface tragus
Surface tragus
The surface tragus piercing is done with a surface piece of jewellery: a bar passes under the skin, and only its two ends are visible. At the tattoo shop, we most often fit a titanium staple with flat silver-coloured rhinestones; other models are possible on request. When you want to change your jewellery, you generally only change the ends.
Like all surface piercings, you need to avoid catching it so as not to risk rejection. A piercing is said to reject when the skin holding it becomes thinner and thinner until it disappears completely.
This piercing heals in 2 to 4 months, more quickly than cartilage piercings.
Even though it is not painless, it is one of the least painful piercings.
