Horizontal Eyebrow Piercing
Horizontal Eyebrow
Horizontal eyebrow
The horizontal eyebrow piercing is a variation on the classic eyebrow piercing, where both balls sit above the eyebrow.
Fairly painless and quick to heal (2 to 4 months), it is not a very demanding piercing.
Like all surface piercings, it needs to be protected from snagging to avoid the risk of rejection. A piercing is said to reject when the skin holding it gets thinner and thinner until it disappears completely.
The jewellery fitted at the time of piercing is a curved barbell. You can choose between:
- A piece with two titanium balls
- A piece with two gold anodised titanium balls
- A titanium piece with two set with zircons
The post of the jewellery is deliberately chosen to be longer to allow for slight swelling of the area during healing. It can be swapped for a shorter one once healing is complete.
