## Snug

The snug piercing is an extremely rare cartilage piercing, located on the outer part of the ear, right in the middle of its height. Despite its aesthetic appeal, it is a very demanding piercing, and we will explain why!

Its main drawback is the healing time: allow between 3 and 12 months. It is generally the cartilage piercing with the longest healing time, just after the industrial (see our dedicated post).

Like all cartilage piercings, you need to avoid catching it in your hair or sleeping on it while it heals. So choose the ear you sleep on least!

As for pain, it is similar to other cartilage piercings: extremely brief but definitely there, let's not pretend otherwise.

For the initial jewellery, we will fit a curved barbell. You can choose between:

- A titanium curved barbell with two classic balls
- A gold anodised titanium curved barbell
- A titanium curved barbell set with zircons

Once the piercing has healed, you can change the jewellery and opt for:

- curved barbells shorter than the initial jewellery
- very small rings

In both cases, our shops have the biggest choice of jewellery in the region.

As you will have gathered, this piercing is best suited to people who heal well or who are patient. But the result is worth it: a really original piercing that works with lots of jewellery.
